City Desk is proud to be a Carbon Neutral company whose products are always created with the environment in mind. You can take for granted the quality of the furniture that you are purchasing and be confident that not only is it made from recyclable material but it is also manufactured with the minimum impact on our natural world.
The wood content of the desk is from sustainable sources and carries the FSC (Forestry Sustainable Certificate) but we do more than just plant new trees. Waste is incinerated on site to provide heating for the factory - we switched off the gas supply to the factory back in 2002!
We also invest back into the areas of the world that provide our raw material. We guarantee our suppliers a fair price for their goods and services. We also provide direct funding in these countries for other sustainable projects as well as local schools, providing a better education and future for children.
This process has been our priority for many years and we have a five year plan to increase the "Good Start" we have already made.
